Join us for an exciting season of fitness, teamwork, strategy, skill and form development! Open to all boys and girls in grades 4 - 8 from the Nashoba community and surrounding towns.

 

New this year: NYFC is pleased to offer ImPACT Baseline pre-concussion testing at no cost to all our players! We are fortunate to have an amazing EMT at ALL of our practices and games. We take safety, hydration, and physical and mental skill sets very seriously when training our athletes and coaches, and promote safety, family and good sportsmanship above all. 

 

All of our Football coaches are certified and trained in the following safety courses:

  • CDC Heads Up Concussion Training
  • National Alliance for Youth Sports : Concussions
  • National Alliance for Youth Sports : Bullying Prevention
  • AYF Safety and Health Training
  • Hawk Tackling Certification from the Seattle Seahawks
  • Football Education Training from American Youth Football]
  • CPR/FIrst Aid Certification - at least 1 Certified Coach per team

REGISTRATION FEES

  • $150 per person
  • $450 for 4 or more children from the same family registering at the same time
  • $100 Raffle Tickets per family 

Registration Includes use of Riddell Helmets, shoulder pads, official game jersey and game pants with integrated pads. Players provide their own mouth guards, cleats, and practice clothing.

 

DATES

  • March 7 - Registration Opens
  • August 1 - Registration and Raffle Ticket Balance must be paid in full
  • TBD- MANDATORY Paperwork hand in day
  • TBD -  equipment handout 
  • TBD - First day of practice (conditioning practice)

 

REQUIRED PAPERWORK:  AYF and CMYFCC requires each participant to complete a variety of paperwork in order to participate. Paperwork will be distributed to teams once teams and coaches have been established. 

  • Birth Certificates: 1st time participants are required to submit a Birth Certificate with a raised seal to show proof of age.     
  • Player Packet:  AYF forms will be distributed to all players.
  • Physical/Medical:  All participants must be medically cleared by a doctor as of Jan of the current year. Medical clearance forms will be distributed to all players as part of the AYF Player Packet. 
  • Report Card:   Final Report card from the previous school year. 

NOTE: Prior to the first practice, all paperwork must be submitted and payments, including raffle ticket funds, must be paid in full. Uniforms and gear will be distriubted once payment and paperwork are comlete. 

 

REFUND POLICY:  Refunds must be made in writing and postmarked before August 15, 2019.  Refund of registration fee minus $25 processing fee will be returned.  No refunds are given on raffle tickets or once your child attends the first practice. 

 

FAMILY VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS:  Each family is required to help out to make our kids' teams successful. Plus your kids love having you on the sidelines or cooking up breakfast! During the registration process, please indicate which roles you would be interested in helping out with. The more volunteers we have, the easier and more fun things will be!  Families may choose to pay a $50 volunteer waiver fee.
